Project Overview:
It serves as the receiving-end hub for transmitting Xinjiang’s electricity to Chongqing, accommodating the delivery of new energy from Xinjiang and connecting to the Chongqing 500 kV grid. This project helps bridge Chongqing’s power supply gap, optimize its energy mix, support reliable power supply and energy conservation and emissions reduction in the Chengdu–Chongqing region, and further enhance the ultra-high-voltage grid infrastructure in Southwest China.
