Project Overview:
The Zhalute–Qingzhou ±800 kV UHV DC transmission project is the first UHV transmission line in Northeast China and a key initiative for advancing the strategy of all-round revitalization in the region in the new era. The project originates at the Zhalute Converter Station in Tongliao City and terminates at the Qingzhou Converter Station in Weifang City, Shandong Province, traversing four provinces and autonomous regions—Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Tianjin, and Shandong. With a total DC transmission line length of 1,234 kilometers, it can deliver 55 billion kWh of electricity annually to North China.
