Jinshang—Hubei’s first UHV sending-end substation and the world’s highest-altitude UHV substation. It has established a transmission corridor for hydropower from Tibet and Sichuan, delivering 40 billion kWh of green electricity annually to Central China, thereby supporting the west-to-east power transmission initiative and the dual carbon goals.
