Project Overview:
A key transmission hub at the eastern end of the West-to-East Power Transmission project, it receives surplus hydropower from Baihetan and delivers 10 billion kWh of green electricity to Zhejiang annually, helping to bridge the region’s power‑supply gap, reduce coal‑fired generation, support the dual carbon goals, and strengthen the ultra‑high‑voltage backbone grid for transmitting Southwest China’s hydropower to the East.
