In December 2020, the TYD765//3-0.005H capacitive voltage transformer manufactured by Shandong Taikai Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd. successfully passed the seismic test at the China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. (National Center for Quality Supervision and Inspection of Construction Projects). This product line is available in two structural configurations—porcelain‑encased and composite‑encased—and both types achieved compliance on their first attempt with the seismic test requirements for a design intensity of Grade 8. Notably, the composite‑encased version not only met the Grade 8 design criteria but also passed an additional margin‑test corresponding to a design intensity of Grade 9 (0.5g), representing the highest performance level currently attainable in China.
TYD765//3-0.005H This product is an ultra‑high‑voltage capacitive voltage transformer independently developed by our company. With the goal of achieving domestic leadership in design, our R&D team has employed specialized software to perform precise simulations and optimized calculations of the device’s stress distribution and seismic performance. By implementing segmented control of bushing strength and incorporating a novel metal‑based vibration‑damping device, we have achieved significant breakthroughs in enhancing the seismic resistance of ultra‑high‑voltage equipment. The product successfully passed all seismic tests on the first attempt, with seismic performance exceeding the requirements of standards such as GB 50260 “Seismic Design Code for Power Facilities” and Q/GDW 11391 “Technical Specifications for Seismic Testing of High‑Voltage Post‑Type Electrical Equipment.” Furthermore, all technical parameters of the product are at the leading level within the domestic industry.
The successful completion of the seismic testing for the 765 kV capacitive voltage transformer underscores our company’s longstanding commitment to product quality, enhances brand awareness, and strengthens the market competitiveness of our products.
