The LVB‑132 oil‑immersed inverted current transformer and the TYD132/√3‑0.02H capacitive voltage transformer, manufactured by Shandong Taikai Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd., successfully passed all KEMA‑witnessed type tests at the Transformer Laboratory of Shenyang Transformer Research Institute Co., Ltd. In July, they each received type test reports issued by both Shenyang Transformer Research Institute Co., Ltd. and KEMA Laboratory.
The LVB‑132 oil‑immersed inverted current transformer and the TYD132/√3‑0.02H capacitive voltage transformer are high‑voltage products independently developed by our company for the overseas market. The main insulation of the LVB‑132 oil‑immersed inverted current transformer is wrapped with high‑voltage cable paper imported from Finland, delivering excellent dielectric performance; its external components are made of cast aluminum alloy, ensuring reliable corrosion resistance and sealing. By employing specialized analysis software to precisely calculate and optimize key parameters—including electromagnetic field distribution, mechanical stress, temperature rise, and short‑circuit withstand capability—the product achieves a short‑circuit withstand capacity of 63 kA/3 s, with temperature rises at all critical locations remaining below 20 K under rated continuous thermal current. The TYD132/√3‑0.02H capacitive voltage transformer incorporates a novel fast‑saturation reactor‑type damper, offering outstanding transient response and superior suppression of ferroresonance. Its measured transient response meets the requirements of 3PT2, and ferroresonance tests were conducted 320 times across all secondary windings under both light‑load and full‑load conditions, with the recovery frequency in each test remaining below six cycles.
Both 132 kV products of the two types successfully passed all test items on the first attempt. Their performance in several key technical parameters—such as short-circuit current withstand capability, temperature rise, ferroresonance, and transient response—exceeds the requirements of IEC 61869, placing their technological level at the forefront internationally.
The successful acquisition of this KEMA type‑test report underscores our company’s superior product quality and outstanding R&D capabilities, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of our products in overseas markets.
