To enhance employees’ awareness of physical fitness and enrich their extracurricular cultural life, the table tennis tournament organized by Shandong Taikai Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd. was successfully held from November 18 to 22, 2019.
This event was jointly organized by the Trade Union and the Youth League Committee, with 48 athletes competing across eight teams. The tournament spanned one week and featured three stages: elimination rounds, semifinals, and the final. Two events—men’s singles and men’s doubles—were contested under a best-of-three‑sets format. Throughout the competition, the participating teams displayed tenacious effort, showcasing a full range of techniques, including penhold and shakehand grips as well as spin shots, while the stands echoed with enthusiastic cheers at every turn.
In the end, the Marketing Systems team took home the championship title, while the Operations Systems team and the Electrical & Power Equipment team finished second and third, respectively. Following the competition, Chairman Han Zhengjun presented awards and banners to the winning teams and posed for a group photo.
By hosting a table tennis tournament, we have strengthened communication and collaboration among employees, thereby enhancing team cohesion. Throughout the competition, the athletes demonstrated courage, determination, and a spirit of striving for excellence, embodying a positive and proactive attitude.
