Recently, the YTJ10-68 capacitive voltage sensor, independently developed by Shandong Taikai Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd., successfully passed all type‑test items—including accuracy, withstand voltage and partial discharge, lightning impulse, and high‑ and low‑temperature performance—at the Electrical Equipment Quality Inspection and Testing Center of the power industry. As a result, Taikai Instrument Transformer has become the first company in the primary‑secondary integrated distribution‑network sector to obtain type‑test certification for the YTJ10-68 sensor.

The YTJ10-68 capacitive voltage sensor, a key component of the integrated primary‑secondary pole‑mounted circuit breaker, can be paired with the ZW68 circuit breaker to achieve seamless integration between primary equipment and a high‑precision sensor. The product features low power consumption, high accuracy, and a three‑in‑one functionality that combines measurement, metering, and protection. At 14.4 kV, its partial discharge level is ≤5 pC, significantly lower than the national standard requirement of ≤20 pC; its operating variation under extreme temperatures (−40°C to +70°C) is ≤±0.12%, far exceeding the national standard’s limit of ≤±0.25%; overall technical performance reaches an industry‑leading level.

The successful testing of the YTJ10-68 capacitive voltage sensor marks a significant achievement for Taikai Instrument Transformers in advancing the integration of primary and secondary equipment within the distribution network. As the trend toward smart distribution grids gains momentum, Taikai has proactively pursued technological breakthroughs in primary–secondary integration, upholding a commitment to innovation and the development of high‑quality products to drive the automated upgrade of distribution‑network equipment.
