On August 26, 2020, a four-member expert team from State Grid Corporation of China conducted an on-site audit of the supplier’s qualifications and capabilities for three product types at Shandong Taikai Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd.: the 750 kV capacitive voltage transformer, the 500 kV oil-immersed inverted-type current transformer, and the 66 kV SF6 current transformer.
In accordance with national standards, industry standards, and the requirements of the supplier qualification‑and‑capability verification specifications, the expert panel, with the cooperation of the technical, process, quality‑assurance, procurement, and manufacturing departments, conducted a comprehensive review of every stage throughout the product’s entire life cycle—covering design and R&D, incoming material inspection, production processes, routine testing, and after‑sales service. The reviewing experts unanimously concluded that Shandong Taikai Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd. had prepared thorough and adequate documentation and that the randomly sampled products demonstrated excellent performance, reflecting strong design‑and‑R&D capabilities, robust quality‑control systems, and sufficient production‑and‑supply capacity. The three product categories met the audit criteria and successfully passed the State Grid Corporation’s on‑site supplier qualification‑and‑capability assessment.
On-site testing of 750-kV capacitive voltage transformers; on-site testing of 500-kV oil-immersed inverted-type current transformers.

The successful completion of this on-site qualification review underscores our company’s longstanding commitment to product quality and robust independent innovation capabilities, further enhancing our product portfolio. In particular, the 750-kV capacitive voltage transformer and the 500-kV oil‑immersed inverted current transformer are both ultra‑high‑voltage products independently designed and developed by our company. Through meticulous engineering and relentless R&D efforts, these products have achieved a technological level that leads the domestic market, bolstering our competitiveness in the ultra‑high‑voltage segment and providing strong momentum for the company’s sustained, rapid growth.
